NIKOLAIDIS FAMILY BEEKEEPING:
Having completed our rebranding and new packaging, now is the ideal time to design and develop our new website, which we would like to ideally communicate the special microclimate of the place where our honey is produced, its unique advantages and the values of the family beekeeping business.
ISLAND12:
For the new Nikolaidis Family Beekeeping site, we utilized the Visual Communication Language that we developed during the branding and Packaging Design phase.
Our priority was to represent the unique atmosphere and microclimate of the area where the honey is produced, in the village of Leptokaryes, outside the city of Florina in Northern Greece, where temperatures are low for most of the year and snowfall is very intense.
The photos have been appropriately edited to put the visitor in the climate of the area where the honey is produced, with cool, blue shades dominating.

The finding of the compass that moves pointing north, in combination with the introductory text around the needle, in combination with the hero image of the honey packaging, give the visitor the appropriate cue as to where they will enter the site.
The entire experience is enriched with illustrations of flowers, trees, bees and beehives in the special illustration style that we created at the visual language level for the brand. The texts are simple and uncluttered with clean typography.
The original, hexagonal shapes of beehives in the photo galleries and elsewhere on the site emphasize the identity and nature of the product.
Photos, colors, shapes, illustrations and simple and easy-to-read texts work collaboratively, just like the bees, to introduce the visitor to the values of Nikolaidis Family Beekeeping.
