TANPIRE / POWERHEALTH:
We created a vegan self-tanning serum that delivers a subtle bronze tan while deeply hydrating the skin, leaving it with a natural, healthy glow. This innovative product was named “TANPIRE”, a blend of the words TAN + VAMP[IRE], evoking the sound of “vampire.”
The name playfully communicates the key product benefit: with TANPIRE, one can tan wherever and whenever they want—even under a full moon.
The logo and the main packaging visual reinforce this bold and witty concept, instantly linking the product to its story and benefits. To support the launch, we propose a TVC aimed primarily at a younger audience, directly connected to both the name and the nature of the product, bringing the TANPIRE world to life in an engaging and memorable way.
ISLAND12:
To emphasize the idea that TANPIRE allows tanning anytime and anywhere—while fully embracing the meaning behind its name and packaging—we created a central character: a lovable teenage vampire. Through her, we developed a narrative-driven story that naturally showcases the product’s use and benefit.
The protagonist is invited to a party hosted by the son of a famous count, but during a video call with her best friend, she complains that she is “white as milk” and not party-ready. Her friend presents the perfect solution—with proof—and that solution is none other than TANPIRE.
The characters of the TVC were designed to resonate with a young audience that loves series and films such as Wednesday and Hotel Transylvania. The vibrant color palette reflects the energy and optimism of the target age group, while the surf-rock music adds a lively rhythm that enhances the storytelling and overall mood of the film.
